Customized production of high temperature resistant fused silica rods in various sizes
High temperature resistant fused silica rods are a high purity quartz glass product, mainly made of high purity silicon dioxide (SiO2 > 99.99%).
High temperature resistant fused silica rods have the following characteristics:
High purity: made of 99.99% pure quartz with no bubbles, streaks, chips or scratches.
High temperature resistance: can work continuously at 1200°C and even at 1500°C for a short period of time.
Acid and alkali resistance: does not react with any acid except hydrofluoric acid.
Electrical insulation: 10,000 times more than ordinary glass.
High light transmittance: light transmittance is as high as 85%-95%, varying in different spectra.
Thermal shock stability: small coefficient of thermal expansion of only 5.5x10^-7 /°C.
Mechanical properties: high hardness and excellent tensile and compressive strength.
These quartz rods can be customized in various sizes and are widely used in the chemical industry, electric light sources, laboratories, medical devices, metallurgy, optics, photovoltaic energy, semiconductors and solar energy. They can be made into various shapes through a combination of heat treatment (molding by heating at high temperatures) and cold working (polishing, cutting, drilling, etc.) to meet the needs of different applications.
Luverre Quartz specializes in the custom production of high temperature resistant fused silica rods in a wide range of sizes.
