Sleeve fused silica tubes with an outer diameter of 10-600mm are a special type of quartz material used primarily for applications in high temperature and high pressure environments. Fused silica tubes are made of high purity silica (SiO2) and have excellent thermal stability, chemical stability and mechanical properties. This material is obtained by high temperature smelting and cooling treatment and therefore has excellent heat and cold resistance. Fused silica tubes have an extremely low impurity content, usually in the ppm (parts per million) range, making them suitable for many critical applications without further treatment or purification.
Quartz sleeves, such as those found in UV sterilization systems, are primarily used to protect UV tubes and to ensure the transmittance of UV rays. Manufactured to international standards for fused silica tubes, these sleeves are characterized by high purity, high transmittance (≥ 90%), chemical stability, high temperature resistance, and acid resistance. The shape of quartz sleeves varies depending on the type of UV sterilization equipment, such as double-ended openings or single-ended openings, to avoid direct contact of the sterilization tubes with water bodies. Quartz sleeves may have various suspended solids attached to their surface, so automatic or manual cleaning devices may need to be installed.
