JGS3 infrared quartz rod is a special type of optical quartz glass, mainly used in the infrared spectral region.
JGS3 infrared quartz rods are mainly used in the infrared spectral region, and their light transmission performance is excellent in both the visible and infrared spectra. This quartz glass is made from crystal or high-purity quartz sand and is produced by vacuum pressure furnace. JGS3 quartz glass has excellent transmittance in the spectral range of 260-3500nm, especially in the range of 2600-2800nm without obvious absorption band.
Optical properties: JGS3 quartz glass has a transmittance of up to 93% in the visible region, and its transmittance is much better than other types of glass in the ultraviolet region, especially in the short-wave region.
Chemical purity: The optical properties of JGS3 quartz glass depend largely on its chemical purity. Even 0.001% impurities can significantly affect the quality of the product. Excessive metallic impurities can change the wavelength direction, and the presence of hydroxyl groups absorbs light in the 2.73 μm band.
Custom machining: JGS3 infrared quartz rods can be customized according to specific application requirements, including cutting (square, round, special-shaped), drilling (square, round, special-shaped), grinding (straight, round, beveled) and slotting.
Application: Due to its excellent optical properties, JGS3 infrared quartz rods are widely used in optical instruments, semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory instruments, communication equipment, medical equipment, and aerospace.
These properties of JGS3 infrared quartz rods make them indispensable materials in many high-tech fields, especially in applications that require high light transmittance and chemical stability.
