Corrosion resistance: In addition to being sensitive to hydrofluoric acid, fused quartz glass shows good inertness to other acids. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel.
Thermal stability: The thermal expansion coefficient is extremely small, and it can withstand drastic temperature changes, for example, it will not break even if it is directly placed in normal temperature water from 1100℃.
