Large diameter transparent high density quartz tube
Large diameter transparent high density quartz tubes are a special quartz glass product with high light transmission and high density properties. Such quartz tubes are commonly used in applications where high purity, good thermal stability and chemical inertness are required. In industrial and laboratory settings, they are widely used in high temperature furnaces, semiconductor manufacturing processes, lighting solutions and laboratory equipment.
In the manufacturing process of large diameter transparent high density quartz tubes, quartz sand is melted and processed into a tubular shape, and its SiO2 purity is usually very high, which can reach 99.98% or higher. This high purity quartz tube has good thermal stability and chemical stability, enabling it to maintain performance in high temperature and high pressure environments. In addition, they also have excellent optical properties such as high light transmittance and low refractive index, making them ideal materials for optical applications.
In terms of pressure, the quartz tube can withstand high temperatures up to 1100 degrees Celsius and, with good surface quality, can withstand design tensile strength of more than 4.8 x 10 ^ 7 Pa (7,000 psi). However, during operation, the gas pressure in the quartz tube must be kept below 20 billion Pa to prevent cracking or other damage.
Large-diameter transparent high-density quartz tubes play an important role in many high-tech and industrial fields due to their unique physical and chemical properties.
