It mainly uses quartz glass's high transmittance to ultraviolet rays (up to 80% to 90%) to achieve efficient sterilization. Its working principle is to excite low-pressure mercury vapor through current, emitting 253.7nm UVC ultraviolet rays. This wavelength of ultraviolet rays can destroy the DNA structure of microorganisms, so as to achieve the purpose of sterilization. Quartz tube has lower light attenuation and longer service life than ordinary glass or high boron glass.
