Ultra thin wall fused silica glass tube is a special kind of quartz glass product. It has the characteristics of high purity, chemical stability, wide spectral transmission, thermal shock resistance, high temperature deformation resistance, cosmic ray resistance, radiation resistance, electrical insulation, etc. This type of glass tube is usually made from natural quartz or synthetic quartz as raw materials, and is processed by high-temperature melting.
In the preparation process of ultra-thin fused silica glass tubes, the melting drawing process is usually used, which is a non-contact tube drawing method used to prepare quartz glass thin wall tubes. This process affects the wall thickness of the quartz tube by controlling factors such as heating power and gas flow rate inside the tube. Ultra thin fused silica window slice is a special product, which has the advantages of fused silica glass, such as low thermal expansion rate, strong chemical corrosion resistance and high transmittance in the ultraviolet band, but its thickness is less than 1/5 of the standard fused silica window slice.
