High temperature resistance: Quartz glass has extremely high heat resistance, with a softening point temperature of about 1730 ℃. It can be used for a long time at 1100 ℃, and the maximum temperature for short-term use can reach 1450 ℃.
Chemical stability: Quartz glass has good resistance to most chemical substances, does not react with acids other than hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid, and is relatively stable to alkalis and most salt solutions.
Low thermal expansion coefficient: The thermal expansion coefficient of quartz glass is very low, about 5.4 × 10 ^ -7/℃, which means that its size changes very little when the temperature changes, and it is not easy to break due to thermal shock.
