Excellent UV transmittance:
JGS1 quartz glass has extremely high transmittance in the short wave ultraviolet region, especially in the wavelength range of 180nm to 2500nm. The transmittance at 185nm can reach over 90%, making it the preferred material for ultraviolet optical devices.
High thermal stability:
The softening point temperature of quartz glass is about 1730 ℃, which can be used for a long time at 1100 ℃, and the maximum temperature for short-term use can reach 1450 ℃. Its low thermal expansion coefficient ensures dimensional stability in high-temperature environments.
Good chemical stability:
Except for hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass hardly undergoes chemical reactions with other acidic substances. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel, especially exhibiting excellent chemical stability at high temperatures.
