Excellent temperature resistance: It has extremely high operating temperatures and can withstand temperatures of thousands of degrees Celsius in the short term without softening or deformation. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is extremely low (about 5.5 × 10 ⁻⁷/° C), and it can maintain dimensional stability even under severe temperature changes, making it less prone to thermal stress cracking.
Excellent chemical stability: It has strong resistance to chemicals such as acids, bases, and salts, especially to all acid corrosion except hydrofluoric acid, and can maintain stable performance in harsh chemical environments.
Mechanical strength and hardness: Compared to ordinary glass, quartz glass has higher hardness and mechanical strength, scratch resistance, wear resistance, and is not easily damaged.
