Transparent thickened perforated quartz round plate is mainly made of fused silica or fused silica, which is a kind of amorphous glass. It differs from traditional glass in that it does not contain other components and is usually added to other glasses to lower the melting point. Therefore, fused silica has a high working temperature and melting point, and is widely used in high-precision optical applications.
Material characteristics:
High light transmittance: fused silica glass has good light transmittance in the whole spectral band from ultraviolet to infrared, especially in the ultraviolet spectral region, the transmittance can reach more than 80%.
High temperature resistance: Quartz glass has extremely high temperature resistance, with a softening point of 1665 ℃, and will not shatter even when quickly immersed in cold water at high temperatures.
Chemical stability: Quartz glass has very stable chemical properties and is a good acid resistant material (except for hydrofluoric acid). It does not react with acid even at high temperatures and is suitable for use in high-temperature acid resistant combustion, cooling devices, and preparation and storage devices for acidic chemicals.
Low thermal expansion coefficient: The average linear expansion coefficient of quartz glass is very low, only 1/10~1/20 of ordinary glass, which makes it have excellent thermal stability and thermal shock resistance in high temperature environments.
