The flat-bottomed opaque high-purity quartz crucible is a container made of high-purity quartz sand (SiO2 content higher than 99.99%), which has the characteristics of high purity, high temperature resistance and long use time. It is mainly used in the production process of single-crystal silicon rods in the semiconductor and photovoltaic fields. It is used as a heating vessel to directly hold polysilicon materials. After the silicon materials are heated and melted, they are processed to form silicon rods/wafers, which are further used in the production and processing of downstream semiconductor chips, photovoltaic panels and other products.
