Translucent frosted fused quartz flange ring is an industrial product made of fused quartz (quartz glass). Fused quartz, also known as quartz glass, the main component is SiO2 (silica), usually natural quartz (such as silica, crystal) as raw material, by high temperature melting. This material is widely used in various industrial fields due to its high purity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics.
The features of the translucent frosted fused silica flange ring include:
Material composition: The main component is high-purity SiO2, with a content greater than 99.95%.
High temperature resistance: Fused silica can remain stable at extremely high temperatures, with a softening point temperature of about 1730 degrees Celsius. It can be used at 1100 degrees Celsius for a long time and up to 1450 degrees Celsius for a short time.
Corrosion resistance: Except for hydrofluoric acid, fused silica hardly reacts chemically with other acids, and its acid resistance far exceeds that of ceramics and stainless steel.
Optical properties: The translucent nature of this material makes it very useful in applications that require a certain degree of light transmission.
The classification of fused silica is diverse and can be classified according to different standards such as application, transparency, and shape.
