It is made of high-purity fused silica (SiO₂) material through precise optical processing techniques, featuring extremely high optical uniformity and accurate optical path length.
Unlike ordinary glass or plastic cuvettes, quartz material endows it with unparalleled optical properties: it has extremely high light transmittance in the ultraviolet region (190nm - 380nm), visible light region (380nm - 780nm), and even the near-infrared region (780nm - 2500nm) (usually better than 80%@190nm). This means that it hardly absorbs the light of these bands, thus ensuring the absolute accuracy and reliability of the measurement data. Solution: High-purity quartz material has an extremely high light transmittance from 190nm deep ultraviolet, making it perfectly suitable for experiments with strong ultraviolet absorption, ensuring no signal loss or distortion.
2. Issues of inaccurate measurement data and poor repeatability
Problem: Inaccurate optical path length of the cuvette, non-parallel window plates, or internal stress can lead to systematic deviations in absorbance values. Data from different cuvettes cannot be compared, and the results of repeated experiments are inconsistent.
