Quartz Glass Rod High Temperature Quartz Glass Rod:
We use very high purity quartz sand to produce diameter 2-70mm quartz rod. The
quartz glass rod is characterized with high purity and high temperature resistance.
It is widely used in quartz boat, optical fiber, optical lenses.
We can provide custom sizes, custom tolerances, and custom length with lowest
tolerances to meet our customer’s needs.
The difference between quartz rods and normal glass rods:
1. Color: quartz rod is a single component of silicon dioxide glass, it is colorless. But
ordinary glass usually has color.
2. Flame exercise: with more than 1000 degrees of hydrogen and oxygen flame
calcination, quartz rod starts to soften, and burning is colorless, ordinary glass is on the
contrary.
3, Hardness: quartz rod hardness is higher than the normal glass. Quartz rods have a higher
melting point than ordinary glass.
4. Quartz rods are more resistant to high temperature than ordinary glass rods.
