Quartz plates are made by melting and cutting, which contain more than 99.99% silica.

The hardness is Mohs grade 7, with high temperature resistance, low coefficient of thermal

expansion, thermal shock resistance and good electrical insulation properties. Many colors

are available like clear, opaque, milky...etc. visible light transmittance isabove 85%.

Quartz plate has its unique optical properties. It can pass through far ultraviolet light,

which is the best of all ultraviolet-penetrating materials. It can also pass through visible

light and near-infrared spectrum. Quartz glass plates have the properties of high

temperature resistance, small thermal expansion coefficient, goodchemical stability,

uniformity and no bubbles, no fringes. it is an essential optical material in a variety of

harsh situations with high stability of the optical coefficient

High temperature resistance: The softening point temperature of quartz glass is about

1730℃, which can be used for a long time at 1100℃, and the highest using temperature for

a short time can reach 1450℃. Corrosion resistance: In addition to hydrofluoric acid, quartz

glass almost does not react with other acid substances, its acid resistance is 30 times that

of ceramics, 150 times that of stainless steel, especially the chemical stability at high

temperature is incomparable to any other materials.
