1. Prepare the raw materials.

These raw materials must undergo strict screening and purification treatment to remove impurity elements such as aluminum, iron, sodium, etc., to ensure the purity of the final product.
2. Crush and mix.
The raw quartz needs to be crushed into fine powder before use, and sometimes it is mixed with other additives to improve its physical properties or processing characteristics. For example, adding a small amount of oxide can reduce the melting point or increase the fluidity.
3. Shaping
Molding is the process of pressing the mixed quartz powder into a preset shape. According to different needs, you can choose dry pressing, isostatic pressing, grouting, or other molding methods. For products such as crucibles with complex shapes, centrifugal casting method is usually used, that is, quartz powder is evenly distributed and compacted by rotating the mold.
4. Dry
After molding, the greenware contains a certain amount of moisture, which must be dried. This step is to prevent cracks caused by the rapid evaporation of moisture in the subsequent heating process. Drying can be done naturally at room temperature or accelerated in special equipment.
5. Sintering
After drying, the greenware needs to be sintered at high temperature to enhance its structural strength and density. The sintering temperature is generally between 1700°C and 2000°C, which depends on the type of quartz raw materials used and the performance requirements of the finished product. This step is crucial for forming a stable crystal structure.
6. Processing
After sintering is completed, the quartz crucible may still need further mechanical processing, such as cutting, drilling, grinding, etc., to achieve precise size specifications and surface smoothness. This step also includes polishing the inner and outer walls of the crucible to improve its appearance quality and performance.
7. Quality Inspection
Finally, each quartz crucible must undergo strict quality control inspections, including the detection of dimensional accuracy, surface defects, internal porosity, etc. Only products that meet the standards can be shipped and delivered to customers.
8. Packaging and Transportation
